In 1938, Vacheron was integrated into the Jaeger-LeCoultre group, but its various companies maintained their independence.

In 1965, Georges Ketterer bought a majority of Vacheron & Constantin’s shares, restoring its complete independence. In 1970, the company simplified its name to Vacheron Constantin.

In 1996, the Richemont Group bought all of Vacheron Constantin’s shares. Vacheron Constantin is a member of the Swiss Watchmaking Industry Federation (FHS).
