The Official Selection
The Official Selection was unveiled on April 14, heralding a lineup destined for acclaim, including twenty works, eight of which are debut films.

The Feature Film Jury, led by French actor Vincent Lindon and composed of eight jurors, as well as other juries such as Un Certain Regard and Caméra d’Or, spotlighted emerging cinema and innovative filmmakers.

Other Juries
Un Certain Regard Jury
Chaired by Italian actress and producer Valeria Golino, joined by four jurors including Polish actress Joanna Kulig and Venezuelan actor Édgar Ramírez. This jury focused on celebrating emerging, innovative filmmakers.
Caméra d’Or Jury
Chaired by Spanish actress Rossy de Palma, this jury awards the best first feature film presented in the Official Selection or parallel sections.
Awards and Recognition
The awards of the festival were announced during the closing ceremony on Saturday, May 28, 2022. The ceremony was broadcast live on the public channel, France Télévisions.
The Chopard Trophy was created in 2001 by Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of CHOPARD.

The top prize, the Palme d’Or, was awarded to Triangle of Sadness by Ruben Östlund.
The Grand Prix was equally shared by Lukas Dhont’s Close and Claire Denis’s Stars at Noon.
Zar Amir Ebrahimi won Best Actress for her role in Holy Spider, and Song Kang-ho received Best Actor for Broker.
Special Premiere
Tom Cruise presented the long-awaited sequel Top Gun Maverick, out of competition.
Directors’ Fortnight
